Senior Developer – Web Platform & Digital Applications

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our team in Christchurch Central and work on our web platform and digital applications. The role is on‑site, contract/temporary, and focuses on building high‑quality web applications, designing practical digital experiences, and solving real business problems through technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications that meet business requirements.
• Design user‑centred digital experiences that are practical and performant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are upheld.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a developer building web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
• Ability to work on‑site in Christchurch Central on a contract basis.
• Senior‑level expertise and autonomy in delivering technical solutions.
