Senior Developer

About the role

Join BNZ’s Conversational Banking portfolio as a Senior Developer, working in an agile, collaborative environment to build innovative, customer‑focused contact‑centre solutions. This hybrid role is based in Wellington or Auckland with three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Amazon Connect platform and related technologies.
• Expand the use of Generative AI for conversational banking experiences.
• Modernise the technology stack following industry‑standard practices.
• Grow and maintain an automated testing suite to ensure quality and reliability.

Required skills

• AWS and cloud technologies.
• RESTful API development.
• Java and/or Node.js.
