Senior Data Engineer – Global Tech Consultancy

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our fast‑growing global tech consultancy. Based in New Zealand and ready to relocate to Australia, you will help leading enterprises turn data, AI and cloud initiatives into real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses for large‑scale clients.
• Architect end‑to‑end data solutions using modern cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and senior consultants to deliver AI‑enabled products.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, playbooks and accelerators.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and curiosity about emerging technologies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for delivering high‑impact solutions to global clients.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Databricks.
• Proficiency in Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
