About the role
Deloitte’s Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory business is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Hamilton team. You will work with a diverse client base across New Zealand, providing audit and assurance services while contributing to projects of national significance.
Key responsibilities
- Present audit findings and recommend actionable advice to clients.
- Review written advice, reports, memoranda and other deliverables.
- Apply analytical thinking and problem‑solving to shape client business strategies.
- Address complex audit and risk advisory issues, understanding stakeholder needs.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, delivering exceptional service.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience in a corporate Chartered Accountant environment.
- Professional qualification such as CA or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong research, problem‑solving and project management capabilities.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS.
- Familiarity with New Zealand accounting standards.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
