Senior Architect – OpenShift Application Development (APAC)

About the role

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern application platforms across the APAC region. You will work closely with customer architecture, development, and operations teams to modernize software delivery using OpenShift, internal developer platforms, and AI‑assisted tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design production‑grade solutions on Red Hat OpenShift, focusing on Internal Developer Platforms such as Red Hat Developer Hub/Backstage.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and proofs of concept to showcase the value of CI/CD modernization and AI‑driven development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior technical and business leaders, guiding pilots through to production deployments.
• Collaborate with Red Hat product, engineering, professional services, and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Develop and share best‑practice assets, architectural patterns, whitepapers, and present at industry events.

Required profile

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, consulting, or sales engineering with a focus on large‑scale platform adoption.
• Proven experience building and managing Internal Developer Platforms and optimizing developer workflows.
• Hands‑on expertise in AI‑assisted coding assistants and integrating LLM/AI services into enterprise delivery pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
