Senior Android Software Developer

About the role

You will deliver mobile banking solutions for a global fintech organisation, covering the full project lifecycle from pre‑sales support to deployment. Working within an agile scrum team, you will focus on enhancing and extending existing Android products while providing occasional out‑of‑hours support for critical incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality mobile software as part of an agile scrum team.
• Maintain and improve code quality and software development standards.
• Validate technical designs, prototype new concepts, and support sprint delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a DevOps culture.
• Identify and raise technical, security, delivery and performance risks.
• Drive continuous improvement of development practices.

Required profile

• At least five years of hands‑on Android application development.
• Experience delivering large‑scale products in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross‑functional teams.
• Valid New Zealand work visa.
