Senior Accountant – Auckland

About the role

Lancom, a high‑growth technology services business backed by private equity, is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to support the CFO. This position offers a clear pathway to Financial Controller as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Month‑end close and maintain general ledger integrity
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, invoicing and intercompany transactions
• Manage NZ tax and statutory compliance (GST, PAYE, FBT, Income Tax)
• Oversee year‑end audit management
• Provide business partnering and payroll transactional support
• Assist with cash‑flow forecasting and CFO reporting
• Drive process improvements in a fast‑growing environment

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of commercial accounting experience
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
• Strong month‑end fundamentals and commercial accounting skills
• High attention to detail with ownership and accountability
• Commercial curiosity and a continuous‑improvement mindset
• Experience in technology, managed services, or complex operational settings is advantageous
