About the role
We are seeking a thoughtful Secondary STEM and Artificial Intelligence teacher who can challenge students academically while nurturing their character, spiritual understanding, and sense of social responsibility. The role involves delivering high‑quality coding, AI, and STEM lessons to a multicultural student body in both Middle and Secondary sections.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver curriculum‑aligned coding, AI, and STEM lessons that meet international standards and Macau’s IT requirements.
- Maintain effective classroom management, educational planning, and ongoing student follow‑up.
- Employ diverse teaching approaches, including ESL strategies and inquiry‑based learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with colleagues on academic, behavioral, and moral standards.
- Support regional STEM events, competitions, and technology showcases.
- Participate in school events on Saturdays and occasional evenings.
- Complete curriculum documentation and mandatory professional‑development courses.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and STEM subjects.
- Commitment to the school’s ethos, character development, and spiritual growth of students.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to work with ESL learners.
- Willingness to engage with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
