Seasonal Logistics Team Member – Papanui

About the role
Join the seasonal logistics team at Smiths Mitre 10 Mega in Papanui, Christchurch. You will work Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours each day, coordinating the flow and safe storage of seasonal merchandise such as outdoor furniture, BBQs, and heating/cooling products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing seasonal stock.
- Ensure safe handling, movement, and storage of items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organise the warehouse layout.
- Support the team in meeting daily operational targets.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to lift merchandise safely.
- Hold a full NZ driver’s licence (with intention to obtain a forklift licence).
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time‑keeping and workload‑prioritisation skills.
- Commitment to a “One team” culture and high‑level customer service.
Required skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.
