SAP Transportation Management Consultant

About the role

Accenture's Supply Chain & SAP practice is looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to design, configure and support transportation planning and execution processes in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management. The role covers freight planning, carrier management, execution and freight settlement, and integrates with SAP SD, EWM, MM and Logistics Execution. It is open to any New Zealand location.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse transportation and logistics business requirements, run workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design sessions.
• Configure SAP TM processes and transportation master data, and prepare functional specifications for enhancements and integrations.
• Configure and support transportation planning, freight order management, freight unit building, carrier selection and tendering, route planning, transportation execution, freight settlement, charge calculation, shipment tracking and monitoring.
• Improve transportation network efficiency and support inbound and outbound transportation.
• Integrate with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP LE and external carrier solutions, including EDI and API integrations, and ensure document flow from order to delivery.
• Support implementation, rollout, enhancement and support projects, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover and hypercare, and work with technical teams on interfaces and custom developments.

Required profile

• Strong experience in transportation planning, freight order management, transportation execution, carrier selection, freight cost management and freight settlement.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP SD, EWM, MM and Logistics solutions.
• New Zealand citizenship, PR or other eligible working rights (Partner Visa, Post Study Visa, Open Work Visa).
