SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling Senior Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling consultant to lead implementation, configuration, and support of core FICO modules for major clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and roll out SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling modules, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, delivering cloud‑ready, clean‑core solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to manage workstreams and provide integrated functional views.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into system configurations and functional specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system integrity.
• Conduct end‑user training, produce user guides, and support post‑implementation issues.
• Provide ongoing system maintenance, issue resolution, and identify enhancement opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FICO).
• Strong knowledge of GL Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, and Margin Analysis.
• Experience drafting functional specifications and working closely with technical teams.
• Consulting background is a strong advantage.
• Preferably holds SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA certifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
