SAP ABAP Developer – 6‑month contract (S/4HANA, BTP, RAP)

About the role

Join a large, complex enterprise undergoing a digital transformation of its SAP landscape. As an SAP ABAP Developer you will design, develop and enhance SAP solutions within a modern ecosystem that includes S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, RAP and Fiori.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code and test ABAP and ABAP OO components for SAP CRM and S/4HANA.
• Develop RAP services, BTP extensions and ABAP Cloud applications.
• Create and maintain Fiori/UI5 front‑ends and OData services.
• Implement data‑access logic using AMDP and SQLScript on SAP HANA.
• Integrate solutions via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in Agile delivery cycles and follow CI/CD, Git and governance best practices.

Required profile

• Extensive SAP ABAP development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of RAP, SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Proficiency with SAP HANA, AMDP, SQLScript and integration technologies.
• Focus on code quality, testing, performance tuning and best‑practice development.
• Ability to lead design sessions, conduct reviews and support team growth.
• Experience working in Agile delivery settings.
