Salesforce Solution Designer

About the role

As a Salesforce Solution Designer at ANZ, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, high‑quality Salesforce solutions that support both customer and business outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the bank, facilitating workshops, shaping solution options and translating complex requirements into robust functional and technical designs. The role leverages deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, Salesforce APIs, data modelling and integration patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and projects.
• Define integration strategies with ANZ’s core banking and third‑party systems.
• Provide technical leadership, reviewing designs and ensuring adherence to ANZ standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and present options in clear, non‑technical language.
• Contribute to ANZ’s technology roadmap, particularly in CRM, customer experience and Salesforce adoption.
• Mentor and coach software engineers to uplift Salesforce capability within the bank.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Designer or senior Salesforce engineer.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a coaching mindset.
• Ability to guide design direction, uplift delivery teams and champion best‑practice engineering.
• Experience working in a large, regulated financial services environment is a plus.
