Sales Development Representative (Remote, NZ)

About the role

Employment Hero is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its New Zealand sales team. Working remotely, you will help drive growth by generating qualified leads and creating new sales opportunities for the company’s all‑in‑one employment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through lead follow‑up, outbound cold calls and email outreach.
• Identify and nurture key decision‑makers within assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to hand over promising opportunities for further development and closure.
• Maintain and expand your prospect database to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and route opportunities appropriately.
• Research accounts to pinpoint decision‑makers and spark interest in Employment Hero’s solutions.
• Participate in engaging online demos for prospects when required.

Required profile

• 1+ years of proven high‑volume outbound B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong phone presence and resilience to conduct extensive calling.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote‑first environment.
