Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Sales Coordinator will support Mattel ANZ’s sales team in New Zealand, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day sales operations and helping drive commercial success for iconic toy brands. This role combines analytical reporting, inventory support, and coordination of promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily sales operations, including promotional submissions, retailer communications, and account administration.
• Maintain and update sales tracking tools and ensure accurate data entry.
• Prepare, analyse and present sales and inventory reports, identify trends and support forecasting.
• Assist the Account Management team and Sales Leadership with documentation, presentations and operational tasks.
• Coordinate promotional events, trade shows, customer presentations and the distribution of product samples.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing high‑quality administrative support.

Required profile

• Experience in sales operations, sales administration or a similar commercial support role.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude with high attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP.
