About the role
Do you enjoy working outdoors, using practical skills, and knowing the work you do directly benefits your community? We’re looking for a Reticulation Technician to join our team and help keep our rural water network running smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Completing annual tank and restrictor inspections
- Carrying out urban and rural water meter readings to keep billing accurate
- Inspecting and servicing pressure reducing valves (PRVs) to maintain system safety and efficiency
- Working in an environmentally safe and hygienic manner
Required profile
- Practical, reliable, and enjoys solving problems on the go
- Previous experience/qualifications in water services, utilities, or a trade (a plus)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Detail‑oriented with good record‑keeping skills
- Strong communicator who can work independently and as a team player
- Full driver licence (essential) and a commitment to safe work practices
