Retail Territory Manager

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for a motivated, results-driven Retail Territory Manager to join its Retail Field team in the North Shore Auckland area. The role is key to keeping products on shelf, building strong relationships with retail partners and driving growth across the territory. It is a hands-on, dynamic position for someone ready to grow their career in FMCG.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Field Plan within the territory, ensuring product compliance, visibility and availability in retail stores.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store management and the wider GF team.
• Drive growth through discretionary activity, non-core ranging opportunities and promotional initiatives.
• Manage in-store ordering, returns and reporting using Salesforce and other systems.
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities and provide insights to support retail strategy.
• Champion health, safety and wellbeing in-store and within the team.

Required profile

• 3 years' experience in FMCG or a related field, with strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver results.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of P&L, retail operations and customer needs.
• Current driver's licence (restricted or full) and a customer-focused mindset.

• Computer literacy with Salesforce, Power BI and other business tools.
