Retail Sales Assistant (Sleep Coach), Dunedin

About the role

ResMed's EdenSleep operation, based in Dunedin, is looking for a part-time Retail Sales Assistant (32 hours per week) to act as a Sleep Coach. The role combines customer service and sales with coaching customers on their sleep health journey, within a rotating roster that includes weekends, public holidays and extended trading hours.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue and business growth.
• Meet sales budgets and recommend products to raise service standards.
• Coach customers through their sleep health journey, giving recommendations and deciding the best course of action.
• Take part in ResMed product knowledge and training.
• Follow up clients, prepare and send reports.
• Carry out general office duties such as stock taking, filing and keeping the clinic clean and well presented.
• Maintain, reprocess and check trial equipment.
• Liaise with third parties when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy, multi-tasking retail or customer service role.
• Administration and retail experience, including visual merchandising, POS experience, cash management and attention to detail.
• Strong, adaptable communication skills; an active listener who finds solutions to customer concerns.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of MYOB or MedTech is an advantage; a healthcare or pharmacy background is preferred.
