Retail Assistant – Merchandise

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Assistant – Merchandise to join our Woolworths Supermarkets team in New Zealand. In this role you will be the face of the store, delivering friendly, personalised service and helping keep the shop tidy and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer queries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Maintain clean, organised shelves and ensure product freshness and quality.
• Set up promotional displays, signage and point‑of‑sale materials according to campaign guidelines.
• Collaborate with the “Swarm” team to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow safety and compliance procedures, reporting hazards as needed.
