Resilience Manager – Business Continuity & Crisis Management

About the role

ASB is looking for two Resilience Managers to join its Business Resilience team on a permanent basis. The role supports the bank’s ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptions, ensuring the safety of people, customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Business Continuity and Crisis Management frameworks across the ASB Group.
• Provide practical advice, guidance and training to stakeholders at all levels.
• Support the development and delivery of business continuity and crisis response plans.
• Design and run scenario‑based exercises and support real‑event response to minimise impact.
• Drive continuous improvement of resilience capabilities, monitor practices and challenge third‑party readiness.
• Contribute to crisis response and broader resilience initiatives, including 24/7 on‑call availability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Crisis Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, training and advisory support.
• Experience delivering continuous improvement in large or complex environments.
• Good understanding of risk‑management principles.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BS11, Deposit Takers Act or CPS230 (nice to have).
• Industry certifications such as BCI or ISO 22301 (nice to have).
