Registered Nurse – PCU/LTAC – Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit/Long‑Term Acute Care (PCU/LTAC) team at Mease Dunedin Hospital. The position is a day‑shift role focused on delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a group of patients with minimal supervision, following the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue opportunities for clinical development.
• Promote evidence‑based practices that support clinical excellence.

Required profile

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department.
• Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience (new graduate RN applicants are welcome).
