Registered Nurse – North Shore/East Coast Bays

About the role

Plunket is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its community health team in the North Shore and East Coast Bays area of Auckland. You will work primarily in the community, providing proactive, culturally appropriate care to infants and their families, while also covering other locations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and clinic appointments to assess infant growth and development.
• Provide health education, social support, and advice to families facing economic or housing challenges.
• Collaborate with families to create safe, healthy home environments.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to professional standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse qualification.
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Restricted or full clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Commitment to complete a 12‑month Post‑Graduate Certificate in Well‑Child Tamariki ora (cost covered).
