Registered Nurse – North Shore Hibiscus Coast

About the role

Plunket is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its community health team in the North Shore Hibiscus Coast area. This permanent, full‑time (0.9‑1 FTE) position offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to provide proactive, culturally appropriate care to families and their children.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and clinic appointments to assess the growth and development of tamariki.
• Provide clinical advice and social support to whānau, ensuring safe and healthy home environments.
• Collaborate with regional teams and occasionally cover surrounding areas as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and adapt daily schedules to meet changing client needs.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Valid restricted or full clean NZ driver’s licence.
• Commitment to complete a 12‑month Post‑Graduate Certificate in Well‑Child Tamariki Ora (cost covered).
• Adaptable, resilient and able to make independent decisions in a community setting.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment of infants and children.
