Registered Nurse – Night Shift

About the role

Join Ryman’s supportive nursing team at the Richard Hadlee Retirement Village and provide high‑quality, compassionate care to residents during the night shift. This full‑time, fixed‑schedule position runs from 23:00 to 07:30, Monday through Sunday, offering a stable work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care and support to residents throughout the night.
• Assess residents, develop and review individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments and ongoing health monitoring.
• Utilise the myRyman care app to document care and communicate with the clinical team.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) in New Zealand.
• Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse in aged‑care or similar settings.
• Flexibility to work across Special Care Unit, Rest Home and Hospital units.
• Professional, reliable and friendly demeanor.
• Commitment to delivering care that is “good enough for mum and dad.”

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myRyman purpose‑built care application.
