About the role

Join BayCare Alliant Hospital as a Registered Nurse on the Long‑Term Acute Care/Progressive Care Unit. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care with minimal supervision, emphasizing evidence‑based practice and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a designated group of patients, applying the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other members of the health‑care team while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Promote evidence‑based clinical care and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Participate in performance appraisals, team award programs, and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure (Registered Nurse).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience; new graduate RN or RN student graduating soon may apply.
