Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) at BayCare assists with diagnostic and invasive procedures, working independently with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes evidence‑based clinical care and supports the delivery of high‑quality patient services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and invasive interventional radiology procedures.
• Function independently during diagnostics and interventions while ensuring patient safety.
• Promote and apply evidence‑based clinical practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the care team to deliver optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Emergency Department, or Critical Care, or 2 years in Tele/Progressive Care.
