Registered Nurse - In Patient Unit

About the role
Mercy Hospice is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its In‑Patient Unit in Auckland. You will provide holistic palliative care to patients with life‑limiting illnesses and support their families throughout a critical stage of care.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care that addresses physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients, families and whānau.
- Participate in 24/7 rostered shifts to ensure continuous care coverage.
Required profile
- Current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience (palliative care experience preferred but not essential).
- New graduates will also be considered.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for holistic care.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
