Registered Nurse – General Practice (32 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our general practice team at The Doctors Massey Medical Centre. This permanent, 32‑hour per week position offers the chance to deliver advanced nursing care within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care in a primary care setting.
• Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and centre leadership.
• Contribute to community health improvement and equity.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand practising certificate (RN).
• Experience in a medical centre (desirable) and competence in primary and/or secondary care nursing.
• Alignment with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
• Post‑graduate nursing qualification or specialization (desirable).
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

Required skills

• Current CPR certification.
• Immunisation and smear‑taking certificates (desirable).
• Computer literacy.
