Registered Nurse – Full‑time, Upper Hutt

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt. This permanent, full‑time position offers a supportive environment where you will help deliver high‑quality care to our residents, many of whom live with dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to ensure consistent, high‑standard care.
• Develop, monitor, and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in good standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a collaborative team spirit.
