Registered Nurse – Full‑time, Upper Hutt

About the role

Join St Joseph's Lifecare in Upper Hutt as a Registered Nurse and provide high‑quality, compassionate care to our residents. This permanent, full‑time position offers a variety of shifts, including AM, PM, nights and weekends, within a supportive aged‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or overseas.
• Hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for older adults and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety and continuous improvement.
