Registered Nurse – Community Health (Porirua)

About the role

Join Whānau Āwhina Plunket as a community‑based Registered Nurse in Porirua. You will provide evidence‑based well‑child health assessments, health promotion and parenting support through home visits, clinics and other community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct well‑child health assessments and provide health promotion advice.
• Offer parenting support and education to families during home visits and clinic sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and local health providers to ensure timely, appropriate support for families.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow evidence‑based care protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including a funded 12‑month Post‑Graduate Certificate in Well‑Child Tamariki Ora.

What we offer

• Salary band $66,222 – $94,842 per year, dependent on experience.
