Regional Pallet Team Leader

About the role

Team Global Express is seeking a Regional Pallet Team Leader to oversee pallet operations across our national network from our Otahuhu, Auckland hub. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a hands‑on leadership opportunity to shape pallet control best practice, improve reporting accuracy and strengthen branch accountability within our logistics and warehousing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate pallet teams at multiple regional sites.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve best practices for pallet control and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor, analyse and report on pallet usage, loss rates and efficiency metrics.
• Coordinate with regional managers to align pallet strategies with overall business goals.
• Ensure branch compliance with company standards and drive accountability.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and optimise pallet handling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, transport or warehousing management.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make data‑driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and senior management.
