About the role
We are seeking a dedicated senior surgical veterinary nurse to join our Best Practice‑accredited referral clinic, providing complex diagnostic and surgical care for companion animals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anaesthesia to ensure high standards of clinical care.
- Monitor and care for hospitalised patients pre‑ and post‑surgery.
- Assist with endoscopy, ultrasound examinations and digital radiography.
- Engage with pet owners to manage their pets' needs.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and referring GP clinics to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Diploma‑qualified Veterinary Nurse with surgical experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Referral‑clinic experience is beneficial but not essential.
