Real Estate Trainer – STAR Programme & Sales Courses

About the role

The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) is seeking an on‑site Real Estate Trainer to deliver its STAR Programme, Level 4 Sales, Level 5 Branch Manager, Property Management, and Sales/Closing courses. Based in Queenstown, you will design and facilitate engaging, compliant training that meets New Zealand regulatory and qualification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update course materials to reflect current legislation and industry best practice.
• Deliver interactive classroom sessions, workshops, and assessments for a diverse learner base.
• Provide constructive feedback, mentoring, and support to learners throughout their training journey.
• Collaborate with REINZ education and membership teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement of the training portfolio.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in New Zealand real estate, covering residential sales, property management, and branch management.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of NZ real estate legislation and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to design and facilitate adult learning programmes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant qualifications in education, training, or adult learning; assessor or moderator experience is an advantage.
