Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Landmark Homes Taupō is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its award‑winning residential construction team. You will work closely with New Home Consultants, Project Managers and the construction crew to deliver architecturally designed homes from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material take‑offs and cost estimates for Design & Build and Ready to Build projects.
• Obtain, evaluate and manage subcontractor quotations.
• Maintain BuildMaster pricing templates, databases and other estimating systems.
• Process client variations, cost updates and prepare purchase orders.
• Support contract preparation, staged payment schedules and council consent administration.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and the construction team to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Formal Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in residential construction cost estimating.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BuildMaster estimating software.
• Experience using uTechture or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Rave Build.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
