Quantitative Consultant

About the role

TRA is looking for a Quantitative Consultant to join its insights team. You will work on research projects for leading organisations across New Zealand, Australia and beyond, helping them understand people’s behaviour through data‑driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute quantitative research studies for a variety of client sectors.
• Analyse data, spot meaningful patterns and translate findings into clear insights.
• Collaborate with behavioural scientists, marketers and data specialists to develop actionable recommendations.
• Present insights to clients in a concise and compelling manner.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of research experience, ideally within an agency environment.
• A degree in statistics, marketing, psychology, economics or a related field.
• Strong curiosity about how people think, choose and behave.

Required skills

• Confidence working with data using Q.
