Quality Engineer

About the role

Henry Schein One is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the stability, availability and reliability of its production platforms and applications. The role blends automation with manual exploratory testing to deliver high‑quality software for the dental care industry.

Key responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time developing and maintaining automated tests and 20% on manual exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to align testing with requirements.
• Design, code, test and debug complex software solutions.
• Create, run and maintain automated test suites for new features.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, risk analysis and defect triage.
• Help set up and maintain test environments and documentation.
• Mentor new hires and junior staff, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of solid coding experience in an application development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification.
