Quality Coordinator and Food Technologist

About the role

The Quality Coordinator and Food Technologist will ensure that all products meet internal and external quality standards, supporting the MPI Food Safety Program and company QA manuals. You will work closely with production, procurement, and customer service to embed quality into every step of the process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging, in‑process and finished goods, recording results accurately.
• Lead real‑time monitoring on the production floor, isolate non‑conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain retention samples, support NPD trials, and validate new products.
• Develop, review and update SOPs, work instructions, quality manuals and ensure controlled documentation.
• Prepare QA reports for audits, manage external audit preparation and support internal audit programs.
• Perform root‑cause analyses, implement CAPA, and track progress to closure.
• Deliver food safety and quality training, promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assist with customer complaint investigations and drive preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the food industry with a strong focus on quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage documentation in a regulated environment.
