Quality Assurance Lead – Software Testing & Quality Leadership

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to drive testing excellence for a global Kiwi tech company. In this hands‑on leadership position you will shape the QA strategy, enhance testing frameworks and foster a quality‑first mindset across engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve QA processes and testing frameworks.
• Design, implement and execute functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and support teams to identify risks early.
• Drive practical quality improvements and support release confidence.
• Provide hands‑on testing support when required.

Required profile

• Strong background in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proven experience improving QA processes within engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end and regression testing.
• Ability to work closely with developers in agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach to quality ownership.
