Qualified Automotive Technician

About the role

We are expanding our Service department at TRC Toyota in Levin and are looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our full‑time team. You will work in a positive, focused environment, supporting vehicle servicing and diagnostics while developing your skills towards becoming a Toyota Diagnostic Master Technician.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair tasks on Toyota vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with New Zealand safety standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using Toyota diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold a culture of positivity and teamwork.

Required profile

• NZ‑qualified automotive technician (mandatory).
• Warrant of Fitness (WOF) certification preferred.
• Friendly, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer literacy.
