QHSE Quality, Training & Development Professional (Multilingual)

About the role

The QHSE Quality, Training & Development Professional supports the QHSE Audit Optimization Department, ensuring high‑quality manual audits, training new auditors, and driving continuous education initiatives. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and requires full working rights in New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate training sessions for new Full‑Time Equivalent and Independent Contractor auditors.
• Provide leadership and guidance to QHSE associates and professionals.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for audits.
• Support audit quality methodologies and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other certification standards.
• Review auditor assessments of supplier QHSE management systems.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to complete investigations and define corrective actions.
• Validate documentation accuracy for corrective actions.
• Drive continual education through calibration sessions, error‑category analysis, and best‑practice sharing.
• Assist in training and corrective‑action initiatives for QHSE auditors.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and at least one of Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Malay.
• Bachelor’s degree in a QHSE‑related discipline (preferred).
• Advanced safety designation (e.g., NEBOSH, AIHS).
• ISO auditor designation (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in safety supply‑chain management.
• Knowledge of WHS regulations and other regulatory agencies (NOPSEMA, ISO, etc.).
• Experience developing and maintaining quality documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
