About the role
We are looking for a proactive Purchasing & Demand Planner to join our Christchurch team. You will combine purchasing and inventory planning to ensure material availability and support production schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Determine immediate and future demand and procure materials, hardware and subcontracted processing to fulfil production orders.
- Purchase non‑work‑order goods and services in consultation with the Operations Manager.
- Maintain accurate demand forecasts based on sales, inventory and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Required profile
- Background in demand planning and purchasing.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
