Property Solicitor (Residential, Rural & Commercial)

About the role

Join a historic, full‑service law firm to grow your property and private‑client practice across residential, rural and commercial work. Based in Napier or Hastings, you will receive genuine support to develop toward seniority while handling a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential, rural and commercial property transactions.
• Handle subdivisions, leasing and related property advisory work.
• Provide trusts, wills, estate planning and broader private‑client services.
• Maintain and develop client relationships with sound judgement.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in property law.
• New Zealand practice experience preferred.
• Confidence in managing files and client relationships.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Expertise in property law, including residential, rural and commercial matters.
• Knowledge of trusts, wills and estate planning.
• Ability to manage case files and client interactions effectively.
