Property Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Property Consultant to join SLR’s Property team in Auckland. The role focuses on site acquisition and property advisory for renewable energy and telecommunications projects across New Zealand, while also supporting the broader SLR client base.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver property projects and manage programmes of work from inception to completion.
• Engage with clients to support their project and programme delivery.
• Collaborate with planners, ecologists and other specialists across SLR’s multidisciplinary services.
• Conduct site visits, including remote and rural locations, and perform on‑site assessments.
• Provide property expertise for site acquisition, valuation, legal advisory and related services.

Required profile

• Understanding of the New Zealand property market and strong industry relationships.
• Experience in site acquisition, valuation, project or property management, or legal/property advisory.
• Ability to work independently and travel throughout New Zealand, including remote areas.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of LINZ processes and the Public Works Act (preferred).
• Practical experience in renewable energy or telecommunications property projects (preferred).
