Property Advisory Manager – Auckland

About the role

WSP is seeking a Property Advisory Manager to lead its growing Auckland team. You will guide a small group of professionals delivering property acquisition, disposal, surveying and legalisation services to government agencies, councils and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small, high‑performing property advisory team.
• Provide advisory services on property acquisition, disposal, survey and legalisation.
• Collaborate with WSP’s national property advisory network of 50 professionals.
• Apply knowledge of the Public Works Act 1981 and related NZ legislation to client projects.
• Engage with LINZ, surveyors, valuers, lawyers and accredited agents on behalf of clients.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and business development of the Auckland and national teams.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in property, law or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in property or legal disciplines.
• Proven experience leading teams in a fast‑paced professional services environment.
• Strong client‑relationship skills and a client‑centric focus.
• Ability to coach, develop and promote a positive team culture.
• Understanding of NZ standards, legislation and practices, especially the Public Works Act.
