Project Manager

About the role

This is an opportunity to join a well‑known South Island organisation that is accelerating its technology modernisation. As a Project Manager you will drive ideas from concept to live, operational solutions that the business adopts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects, from scoping and business analysis through to implementation and change management.
• Facilitate workshops, map current and future processes, capture requirements and produce clear documentation for technology teams and vendors.
• Plan, govern and monitor project timelines, budgets, risks and issues, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendors, manage governance structures and oversee post‑implementation adoption.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects end‑to‑end, with the ability to structure ambiguity and align stakeholders.
• Strong business analysis skills, comfortable running workshops and translating needs into actionable specifications.
• Energetic, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves and take ownership.
• Project management certifications or familiarity with frameworks (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageous.
