Project Manager – Facilities (Construction & Infrastructure)

About the role

Join Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s Facilities Infrastructure Team as a Project Manager, overseeing large‑scale construction and upgrade projects for owned and leased buildings across New Zealand. You will help deliver new infrastructure that supports the company’s rapid growth in research, development, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client‑side construction and upgrade projects for the East Tāmaki and upcoming Karaka campuses.
• Deliver new infrastructure on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Maintain and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial control.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Report progress to the Infrastructure Development Manager and contribute to long‑term campus planning.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Can‑do attitude and passion for service delivery.
• 3–5 years of proven project management experience in construction or related infrastructure.
• Experience managing project budgets and large, complex infrastructure programmes.
• Foundational knowledge of PMP or PRINCE2 methodologies (desirable).
• Background in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering is advantageous.
