Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

About the role

Octa Associates Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to join its Wellington office. The successful candidate will support a variety of projects across the Education, Health, Local Government, Airport and Civil Infrastructure sectors, working alongside an experienced consultancy team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management support for initiatives in Education, Health, Local Government, Airport and Civil Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in the listed sectors.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in building, construction, engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in a professional consultancy environment is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and numerical capability.
• Proactive, self‑driven attitude with adaptability to complex project challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Familiarity with other project‑management tools.
