Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

About the role

ConsultANZ is recruiting a seasoned Project Manager for a leading civil contractor in Wellington. The role involves overseeing major infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, and regular project reporting.
• Support construction methodologies and provide practical, buildable solutions.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive performance across civil, structural, and foundation works.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proven experience in project management or senior site‑leadership roles.
• Strong background in civil, structural, and foundation works.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
