Project Lead & Senior Civil Engineer (Wellington)

About the role

The Project Lead + Senior Civil Engineer role will lead the design, planning, and execution of a wide range of civil engineering and land development projects while supporting the Wellington Civil Manager in delivering those projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Support the Wellington Civil Manager in managing project delivery.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of civil engineering experience with significant project management responsibilities.
• A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Proven experience liaising and negotiating with clients, achieving goals aligned with business plans.
• Understanding of New Zealand design standards and council approval processes.
